This is a really funky run cycle that I made a while ago when I was bored. The movements are unnatural, the animation is choppy and needs more frames, and overall it's just kind of sucky but I actually like it for some reason or other XDD I might update it soon to make it looks cleaner and smoother, and someday I might turn it into Spiro since it was supposed to be his run cycle anyway, but for now it's just a little test.
not bad run, could use perhaps a few more frames to smoothin it out some more. There's a book/dvd that I think you could really benefit from... I can't remember the name of it but once I do I'll let you know. It's written by the guy that created Roger Rabbit and it's really good. I learned a lot from him when it comes to frame by frame animation. This is good for a start, just a few more in between frames and this would look amazing.
Oh, Richard Williams? He's like my role model in animating, his work is amazing Have you ever seen The Thief And The Cobbler? You should, that's one of the movies that really inspired me to animate [link] One of the most amazing scenes in the movie is the "Chase Scene": [link]
Anyway, thank you very much for the compliment, I will look into the resource you suggested.
Seriously, good stuff! Besides, it takes a lot of frames to get that good ol' smooooooooth running.
Yeah it sure does, thanks a lot for your comment
